Place Keepers workbook released
Monday, October 5, 2009 at 9:00AM I am excited to announce the public availability of the Place Keepers workbook, the project that inspired me to create this web site. In 16 pages, this workbook introduces the idea of green space and provides tools to help you get to know a specific local green space and get involved in its care. In making the workbook available for free and unrestricted use, I hope it can inspire individuals, community organizations, and local governments to strengthen their relationship with the land.

Wonderful writing and practical information. I printed a hard copy for future reference (& to share) and plan on using the grid to begin with my own backyard. I did notice that my hard copy was not numbered correctly - it printed correctly but '2' appears instead of page '3' & ''7'...it may be my printer. Thanks!! Carol
Hey, that was interesting,
Great work,

Thanks for writing about it
Carol, thanks for pointing out the printing problem. I'll look into it. (And sorry about the delay in posting your comment; I'm still getting used to this web platform.)
Web developer, follow the link in the first sentence of the article to get to the workbook's download page.
